The project aimed to create an inclusive apparel and accessories line that would appeal to diverse demographics while maintaining a cohesive brand identity.
Objective
The primary goal was to establish Friend or Foe Apparel as a versatile brand that spans multiple genres, offering both artistic, masterfully designed graphic apparel and a basics line that caters to a broad customer base. Despite facing budget constraints, the challenge was to develop brand guidelines, identity, apparel artwork, and comprehensive marketing materials, including social and digital media strategies.
Concept
The concept centered around merging various cultural elements into a unified brand narrative that celebrates creativity, individuality, and community. The brand sought to resonate with customers through compelling visual storytelling and high-quality, versatile apparel that transcends traditional boundaries.
Execution
With a small but dedicated team, all-hands-on-deck became the mantra as every aspect of the brand launch was meticulously crafted. The team, led by myself, engaged in multifaceted roles from developing brand guidelines to shooting photography and video for social media, and styling for photo shoots. This collaborative effort fostered strong bonds and ensured a cohesive brand image across all touchpoints.
